FACES AT THE YOUNG PIONEER #ALBUM LAUNCH

FACES AT THE YOUNG PIONEER #ALBUM LAUNCH

The very talented hip-hop rappers, and RnB group musicians, from same parents recently launched their 15 tracks album in their resident FESTAC TOWN which witnessed the presence of so many showbiz stakeholders, entertainers , event managers and other fellow musician from all works of life to show love and support.

The triple talented rap artiste while under the tutelage of Mr and Mrs Paul Awurum their father have devoted themselves into the conversion process. With these trio Kelechi Awurum A.k.A K Dawg the youngest rap king with endless lyrics which can position him as a youngest rising super star, Chiwendu Awurum popularly called Wendu with her  dazzling characteristics that can be compare with  Tiwa Savage, talk of Chijindu Awurum Young Chizy  then you will remember BIGGY fans of the East coast hip hop
However, in Nigeria, young talents are beginning to gain recognition unlike back then when our parents will tell us to only face our studies neglecting our talents and hobbies, because every child must possess at least 4 talents and 5 hobbies and what will make a child to standout is the exposure he gets from his environment especially if the parents supports him or her.

As a result, the parents of these wonderful and awaiting stars are very happy to take up the mantle of leadership to manage their children’s talent and musical career, and ask many parents to develop their kid’s talents while they are still alive

BETWEEN ALIBABA AND BOW -JOINT #COMEDIAN?

BETWEEN ALIBABA AND BOW -JOINT #COMEDIAN?

Bowjoint
Bowjoint has been a professional comedian for the past ten years. Also no stranger to our screens, he featured in the last season of Comedy Club: Live in Lagos.

Bowjoint has had stints on two comedy movies Mumu and Blackbirds. He’s also played the character Chidi in the sitcom Saint and the Silly.
Here is what Bow Joint said about Bros Alibaba in an interview:
Has Alibaba made any impact on your life?
Yes. There was one event I attended which I have even forgotten about it. Someone sent me to buy a newspaper for him. As I was going through the pages of the paper, I saw the person’s letter of appreciation to people who made the event a success. There were names of governors, ministers, companies and surprisingly I saw my name and it was like, ‘Waoh! Me too!’ I didn’t know that it was Alibaba that made it possible for me to be remembered. When I later saw him (Alibaba), I thanked him and since then I have not really had the opportunity to do him a favour. So, when he was putting up a show and he needed one of the stand-up comedians to support him, I just made myself available to him, though it wasn’t me that he really called. He sent for my friend Koffi. So, it was Koffi that notified me.

Here is the #American Mc Shan...

Here is the #American Mc Shan...

Born and raised in the Queensbridge Projects in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York City, Shan is a cousin of old school hip hop producer Marley Marl, and older brother to female rapper and radio personality Princess Ivori.

Born and raised in the Queensbridge Projects in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York City, Shan is a cousin of old school hip hop producer Marley Marl, and older brother to female rapper and radio personality Princess Ivori.

His Career:

In 1985, Shan started in MCA Records with his first and only major single "Feed The World". Despite the success, he was dismissed from the record label. Not long after, Shan signed to Cold Chillin' Records due to his relationship with Marl, and joined Marl's Juice Crew All-Stars. After a few singles were released, MC Shan's debut album Down By Law came out in 1987.
He also found himself to be a key player in the noted hip-hop rivalry, known as the Bridge Wars, between the Juice Crew and Boogie Down Productions. The feud started when Shan and Marl released a song called "The Bridge" as a B-side to "Beat Biter," itself an answer record directed at L.L. Cool J. KRS-One responded with "South Bronx," and the Juice Crew replied with "Kill That Noise." Slate magazine described the conflict: "In 1986, it was a beef that launched the star of KRS-One,"[1] Boogie Down Productions then released "The Bridge is Over," widely celebrated among hip-hop fans as the paramount diss track. Years later, MC Shan remade "The Bridge" into "Da Bridge 2001," and strongly denied the bridge "was over", saying:
The Bridge was never over
We left our mark
The jam is dedicated to you and your boys
I brought my Queensbridge thugs to kill that noise
Shan's second album, Born To Be Wild, followed in 1988 and revealed Shan's b-boy persona, with production once again by Marley Marl. 1990's Play it Again, Shan displayed a more mature style but it also proved to be his last album. When Cold Chillin's sub-label Livin' Large was active, Shan was listed as one of its artists but never released any material. Despite the fact that he focused more on his production career (like Snow's 12 Inches of Snow, which featured "Informer", on which he appeared) he recorded "Da Bridge 2001" for Nas's 2000 compilation called QB's Finest, which also featured Mobb Deep, Cormega, and Nature.
Shan had a brief stint in films, playing a bit role in Steve Martin's L.A. Story as Rappin' Waiter. Shan is credited as the guest rapper on the Sum 41 song "Dave's Possessed Hair/It's What We're All About" in the album Half Hour Of Power.

VIRGIN BOY COMEDIAN IS A #WARRI BOY::

VIRGIN BOY COMEDIAN IS A #WARRI BOY::

He is funny. His jokes can send you to an early grave if precautionary measures are not taken. He has defined his jokes as Christian, unlike the practice among most comedians. Virgin Boy, whose real name is Aghogho Tobore, grew up in the streets of Warri, Delta State, where he started his act. But today, he is one of the most sought-after comedians.
The comedian who was recently adopted by the Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, opened up to NFC about his background, style and dreams.
Enjoy his story here:
How did you come into comedy?
My name is Aghogho Tobore. I went to school at the Petroleum Training Institute, PTI, Effurun, Warri, Delta State. I once worked with an oil servicing firm at Forcados Terminal, but I had to abandon my job due to my love and passion for comedy. And I have always found it fulfilling, so I felt I should just follow my heart.

It’s right to say besides your love for comedy, your monthly salary working at Forcado Terminal wasn’t satisfactory hence your foray into comedy? How true is that?
No. We were paid N20,000 per week making it N80,000 per month. But in comedy, I can anchor a mere wedding programme and get paid nothing less than N100,000. There is a lot of money there. If I anchor five weddings in a month, that would amount to N500,000 besides other events for the month.

From your analysis, it seems the love for money principally brought you into comedy?
No, no, no, the love and the passion for comedy brought me in. I have the talent in me. I cannot hide it. I am a Warri boy. I am from Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State. There is a friend of mine, a brother to me, Onyebuchi, a Gospel comedian, who actually brought me into Gospel comedy.

In order words, Onyebuchi influenced your coming into the industry?
Yes. Before coming in, I had always looked up to comedians like I go Dye, Gandoki, and Ali Baba. But the person that really pushed me into Gospel comedy is Onyebuchi. You can do Gospel comedy at corporate events, marriage celebrations and in some other events and you will be highly appreciated.

When did you come to Lagos?
I relocated to Lagos February, 2009. That was when I won the Best Gospel Comedian in the Niger Delta Area. Since I came to Lagos, it has been fun all the way. My first performance took me to A.M Express. My elder brother in London was watching me on A.M Express live. I never knew it and he was encouraging me through calls and that very day NTA was holding its dinner party and the MD, a woman, invited me to perform. I performed before the Minister of Information and Communications, Mrs Dora Akunyili and other ministers present and it was really, really fun that day. The MD told me initially that they wouldn’t pay me, but will only give me N5,000 transport fare. But after they saw my performance, they gave me N40,000. I was really excited. From there, I got another job from Starcomms when they organised a sendforth party for their secretary. The owner of Starcomms took me to his house and gave me N40,000.....

I know you'll definitely go places...more to your elbow...
