The second annual Jersey City Comedy Festival announces its line-up:::

Last year was the innagural run of a comedy festival that’s in our backyard and one great one to be a part of, The Jersey City Comedy Festival. As we’ve known for a while, organizer and comedian Craig Mahoney has been working hard to put on an even better second year of the comedy festival. And boy oh boy did he make that happen.

This year’s festival consists of 25 different events, over the course of one week, throughout Jersey City. There will be 12 different stand-up showcases, plus sketch, improv, live podcasts, live music, film and video showings, and two art openings. That’s right, the bar has been raised.
The Laugh Button is helping by bringing a live stand-up show featuring the comedians of Robert Kelly’s podcast, You Know What Dude? including Kelly, Joe List, Dan Soder, Louis J Gomez, Kelly Fastuca, and Chris Scopo. There will be a live Q&A with the comics afterward. Also appearing at the festival will be live tapings of the Laughspin podcast and Guys We F****d: The Anti-Slut Shaming Podcast. A sketch comedy show at HopsScotch on Wed, April 2nd to raise money for comedian Liza Dye. The festival also will feature a pop-up comedy club/art gallery, The Rogues Gallery.
The entire JCCF is officially brought to you by Dos Equis with The Laugh Button, Fat Baby Live, Garden State Comedy, and the Riverview Neighborhood Association as producing partners.The festival opens on Sunday, March 30th with a launch party for all festival participants, then kicks off in earnest on Monday, March 30th and runs straight through the week until Saturday, April 5th.
