Indiya's Cry for Nigeria "Peace Be Still":::

A song for every Nigerian: official release of "Peace Be Still" by Indiya Jnr

Standing son of the soil, Indiya Jnr. Flashed back then when our great
country was known for its “peace and Unity” and selfless cooperation but it
seems like all those glories are gone,

Now cry fills the land, fear weakens the Minds and our strong bonds Loosing.

Then who will save Nigeria?

If our children now cry, with great fear of the future then who will lead?

If divided we standing, then where lies our strength?

This is song that every Nigerian Home and abroad should have, It’s a song
of peace, a song for one Nigeria, a song that shows how great we are and we
could be but only if “Peace Be Still”.

*Lyrics*

Our leaders have struggled for our nation to be strong,

they fought day and night for its growth to never retard,

North, east west and south they all stood for its pride,

But come close and sight are those glories all gone?

Our children now crying but who will help their stretching arms?

Now things are getting so cold, like its walls are falling apart.

In Nigeria my fa-ther land

Oh peace oh peace

Be still (2x).

Now look up, in the distance where is the eagle that once fly?

Even the world know who we are,

Green white green is the song they sang,

One family we were strong, but those moments all are gone,

Though Life is so tough when heading up to the top,

But Divided we will fall from the ladder that leads on,

Yes Our freedom is diclared, but with unity let's build our walls.

In Nigeria my fa-ther land

Oh peace oh peace

Be still (2x).

But yet I see hope,

Our children will grow old,

The weak will be strong,

Our cries will turn to smiles,

A song of victory, we shall sing,

North, west, east and south,

One Nigeria are we.
