KAYODE SALAKO BIRTHS NEW POLITICAL REALITY, PASSION ALLIANCE FORUM ‘PANFO’

KAYODE SALAKO BIRTHS NEW POLITICAL REALITY, PASSION ALLIANCE FORUM ‘PANFO’

…Unveils Foluke Daramola as Brand Ambassador

The erstwhile State Chairman of Labour Party in Lagos State, and the former Special Adviser to the Office of the National Chairman of Labour Party in Nigeria, Barr. Julius Abure, Comrade (Rotarian) Olukayode Ezekiel Salako has kicked off a new chapter in his political career with the official unveiling of his new political association, Passion Alliance Forum, PANFO.

Passion Alliance Forum was unveiled in Lagos State on Thursday 11th May, 2023 in a well-attended World Press Conference.

Salako also seized the opportunity to inundate the cross section of media on how he was forced out of Labour Party due to his wife and Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako’s association with APC and Tinubu.

“During my brief stint at Labour Party, I led a 24-man State Executive Caretaker Committee to run and re-build the Labour Party for a period of 5 months, after which I worked assiduously as the SA to the Office of the National Chairman of Labour Party on Lagos State Labour Party affairs and its Liaison operations, which impact at the 2023 Presidential elections heralded a paradigm shift in Lagos State, and has remained a lasting memoir in the history of Nigeria. He said

“As you all already know, I resigned on 20th April 2023 as the SA to the National Chairman of Labour Party and officially withdrew my membership of the party under a circumstance I didn't keep quiet about, which ranged from second guessing of my loyalty to the Party (a miscarriage of justice) while I ran the affairs of the party as the State Chairman in Lagos State, to sustained harassment, assault and victimization of my person which stemmed from their perception of me being a Bola Tinubu/APC mole and hatchet job man in Labour Party, just because my wife, Mrs. Foluke Daramola-Salako, the celebrated award-winning Nollywood Actress and a loyalist of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, chose to express her liberty and freedom of Association to remain in All Progressives Party (APC) when I moved to Labour Party... A decision today I celebrate!

“Passion Alliance Forum (PANFO), by divine agenda and grace, is the newest emergence of an organic association with the ideals of political reality in Lagos State, and it is the unveiling/launching of this epitome of political associations, whose core values are broadly CAPACITY, CHARACTER, COMPETENCE, AND SOCIAL CHARISMA that we are gathered here today to actualize. “

“Our Core values in PANFO (a.k.a the “four Cs”) are the values that greatly define a prospective and pragmatic democratic order with a guaranteed and unequivocal yield of the dividends of democracy to the citizenry, as they determine whoever emerges as our ambassadors in the political sphere, as well as political affiliations in the future.

“It is our hope and aspiration that you would warmly embrace this newest political baby, which is the epitome of political associations in Nigeria of today, and work with us to keep promoting its socio-political activities, whilst trusting you to give us your support at making it a formidable political brand to beat in Nigeria.

“PANFO is that much anticipated group of like minds and compatible political associates in Lagos State and beyond, where people find fulfilling expression and actualization of their political aspirations/vision.

“In the coming days, political big wigs from across Lagos State, in particular, and Nigeria, at large, will be joining us to chart the functioning course of democracy in a world of ours (Nigeria) which is seriously challenged with the demand of its very principles and core values in the strive at positively impacting her citizenry.

“Our goal in PANFO is to build a political association we believe should run on aligned political ideals in a way will reward every investment of resources into politics in the way and manner deserving of every member, from the bottom to the top, with transparency, equity, empathy, and mutual trust being its fulcrum.

“PANFO is a group of politically compatible associates/social like minds from Labour Party in Lagos State, and for the reasons of having it better with the sanity of our political operations, we have decided to move out of the party to run it the way we would always want to see it run in any political party in Nigeria.

“Right now, we are presenting ourselves to the world as members of Passion Alliance Forum (PANFO), with our core highlighted core values (the four Cs), Character, Capacity, Competence and Social Charisma, as well as our operational philosophy of Transparency, Equity, Empathy, and Mutual Trust (TEEM) defining our brand identity as the paradigm shift much desired and now with us,

“We have sworn to let these four Core Values and the four Philosophical principles be the guiding pathway for our family association as political actors in the State.

“Accordingly, we have resolved to run PANFO progressively much better than the Labour Party we exited, under a 35-man State Executive Administrative System (SEAS), which we shall unveil in the course of this monumental program today.

“In the course of time, PANFO may evolve into a registered Political Party with the Independent National Electoral Commission in Nigeria (INEC) and run with the normal organogram of an ideal political party, or remain on its own, as expediency demands.

“However, for the records, it is also worthy of note that PANFO, a two (2) months old baby, with the pedigree and success antecedents of its visional Leadership has been receiving entreaties to run as a group inside some existing registered political parties. Accordingly, we are still engaging as much as we resolved to strongly consider the option of moving into a political party, as a uniquely identifiable Forum therein, and the name/identity of the political party decided, would be unveiled very soon, at a glamorous official “Declaration Event”.

“At this juncture, I therefore crave the indulgence of Passion Alliance Forum delegates/participants here present, your Excellences, gentlemen of the Press and all other distinguished ladies and gentlemen, to formerly present to you PASSION ALLIANCE FORUM as the newest political association, organization, group and movement of quality and progressively inclined politicians in Lagos State, with its 35- man State Executives list…
