 Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi is a highly respected leader in Nigeria, serving as the Chairman of Abaji Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He also holds the position of National Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON). 

As Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Abubakar oversees the administration of Abaji, which is one of the six local government areas in the FCT. Abaji has a population of approximately 127,900 people and is home to various ethnic groups, including the Hausa, Bassa, Ganagana, and Egbira. 

Under his leadership, Abaji Area Council has seen significant development, with a focus on improving the lives of its residents. Under his leadership, Abaji Area Council has seen significant growth, with a focus on improving the lives of its residents. The area council has also become home to notable institutions and landmarks, such as the proposed Federal Capital Territory University, Abaji (FCTU), and the Nestle Water Factory. Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi, has a professional relationship with Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). As the Minister of FCT, Wike oversees the affairs of all local area councils, including Abaji Area Council, which is led by Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi. In his role as ALGON Chairman, Abubakar has likely interacted with Wike on matters related to local government administration and development in the FCT. Hon.
