Release at the official flag off of UNLEASH Season IV held on Thursday, 7th
of May 2015 @ Something Else, Ikorodu
We
are most delighted to officially introduce to you one of the classiest, most
impactful youth/family-oriented grassroots project in Ikorodu division titled
UNLEASH Your Talents.
UNLEASH
Your Talents (aptly called UNLEASH) is a grassroots youth re-orientation
programme designed for discovery of talents as well as to serve as platform for
promotion of discovered budding talents in the entertainment sector of Ikorodu
division. The concept is geared towards encouraging our youths with special
abilities in Dance, Music, Comics and Modelling towards the actualization of
their goals.
UNLEASH
initiative which is a brainchild of Fanafillit Integrated Concepts was
conceptualized with broad-based objectives which includes:
i.
Discovering
of budding talents in entertainments from within Ikorodu division.
ii.
Providing
an avenue for youths to channel their energies to productive ventures
Inspite
of numerous challenges associated with growing brands, we make bold to say that
the project had over the time became an annual rallying point both for families
around Ikorodu division to get together and unwind, and business entities to
promote their brands.
And
with our sense of determination as a team, we continue to record on yearly
basis improvement in the packaging of the annual project.
UNLEASH
IN BRIEF
For
purpose of transparency, the project is thrown open for interested youths
between ages 14 to 30 to register.
Interested
participants are to SMS Name/Age/Address/Interests/Audition location to 09022346324
or 09023354886. E.g. John Abdul/16/14, Kareem Street, Ori-Okuta Agric Ikorodu/Ikorodu audition.
Afterwards,
successful applicants would be invited to auditions which would hold four times
at four major communities/LCDAs under Ikorodu division.
The
outcome of the auditions would see to selection of five (5) Most Outstanding
Talents each in Music, Dance, Comedy and Modelling for
the next stage which is UNLEASH Orientation camp.
The
UNLEASH Orientation camp is to be a three-day camping where the budding talents
would be taken through various exercise of mental, psychological and emotional
alertness. This we plan to achieve by inviting on daily basis, Professional/Veterans
in each fields of the segments under UNLEASH to interact with the budding
talents, encourage them by sharing with them their experiences, and educate
them on how to set and maintain reputable standard in the industry.
The
essence of doing this amongst others includes:
i.
To
avail the participants the rare opportunity of learning from achievements of
the various professionals in the fields which they are aspiring, through first
hand daily interactions with the professionals.
ii.
To
prepare their minds in readiness for the possibility of what awaits them at the
end of the project
iii.
To
re-invigorate the zeal in them towards excellence performances at the Grand
finale
The
day four would be the Grand finale where the finalists would exhibit their respective
talents/abilities to the full glare and admiration of guests, while the Judges
(drafted from different fields relating to the segments under the project)
assess their efforts.
At
the end of the exposition, the Judges would announce Winners for each category
of talents showcased. The Winners would receive various prizes and
endorsement/signing with entertainment firms working in support/partnership
with the project. Also, other prizes/endorsement could come from
Sponsors/Supports/Partners. And other participants (finalists) would be
appreciated and encouraged by receiving consolation gifts and certificates of
participation.
Already,
we have gotten full year roll over deal for sewing services from Owambe Clothing for the Models, Intensive IT Training degree/programmes
with Demal Associates in partnership with Laspotech
for winners, and a couple of other incentives underway.
Veterans
and notable practitioners in the entertainments industry being penciled down as
Judges and Catalysts for this year edition includes: Yeni Kuti, Foluke
Daramola-Salako, Kenny Saint Best (KSB), Sheyi Ashekun, Lord of Ajasa,
Sola Onayiga (Ireti), Ronnie Dikko, Capital F.E.M.I, Koffi Tha Guru, Segun
Adefila and a host of others.
Presently,
we are still having talks with our prospective Lead sponsor- Airtel Nigeria on
how they could bring their product “Airtel TRYBE” which especially addresses
the needs of the youths to benefit both the participants of the project and
entire youth population of Ikorodu division.
Our
prospective Co-sponsors are Glorious Opportunity Ltd with their sister-company,
G & M Drycleaners.
While
we have the likes of Dangote Noodles, 7up Ltd, Intercontinental Distillers,
Noble Carpets, Legendary Gold, Kingscourts Events Centre as prospective
supporting brands.
As
we roll out the promotions for this project which is scheduled to have its
Grand Finale on Sunday, 2nd of August, we shall from time to time be updating the general public
with info about confirmed Sponsorship/Supports for the project through our
