 COSON BOARD CONDOLES DAVIDO AT THE LOSS OF HIS SON:


The  full Board of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria's biggest copyright collective management organisation, met in Lagos this November 1st 2022, and took several critical decisions towards the betterment of the life of the members.


At the meeting, the Board unanimously resolved that a special condolence message be sent to the frontline member of COSON and Nigeria's music star, David Adeleke better known as Davido who in sad circumstances just lost his 3 years old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.


The Board prayed that the Almighty would give Davido and Chioma, Ifeanyi's mother, the fortitude to bear this terrible loss.


The meeting which was chaired by Chief Tony Okoroji, Chairman of COSON, was attended by all members if the board from all over the country, including afro juju superstar Sir Shina Peter's; Gospel music star Kenny St Best, Master of Impressions, Koffi Da Guru; Celebrated producer and drummer boy, Richard Cole; Oge Kimono, daughter of the Late Rub-a-dub master, Ras Kimono; Reggae Toaster Extraodinare, Righteousman and music producer and social media influencer, Zdon Paporrella. 


Others include celebrated Enugu based music publisher, Sir Angus Nwagwu; Gospel minister, Evangelist Olusegun Omoyayi; Abuja based Kingpin of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN), Chief Uche Emeka Paul and President of Music Producers and Markerters Association of Nigeria (MUPMAN), Engr Sharon Wilson.


Also at the meeting, were COSON General Manager, Mrs. Bernice Eriemeghe-Ashibuogwu and Deputy General Manager, Mr. Vincent Adawaisi.
