Singer Rihanna will receive the Council of Fashion Designers of America, CFDA, Inc Fashion Icon Award this summer.
According to hollywoodreporter, CFDA has announced that the “Diamonds” singer will be honoured at the 2014 awards event, to be held June 2 in New York City.
The award is given to one whose style has made a great impact on pop culture across the globe. In the past, stars like Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga and Kate Moss were also recognised.
